August 2011 Cecil County MD Real Estate Market Update

Including Elkton, North East, Chesapeake City, Perryville, Port Deposit and Earleville

August sales for Cecil County MD fell slightly from 75 properties 74. The Sales number seems to be fairly stable as pending sales rose to 80 from 74 in July bringing total Pending Sales to 126. Although there has been little clarity in the Economy. The Fed has maintained that they will continue to keep rates down through the middle of 2013. We will just see if they are able to do this.

Days on Market for listings continued its upward trend to just above 200 days from 163 sin July

Average Days on Market for Cecil County MD Real Estate August 2011

Overall Listing Activity shows that the inventory is showing a slight decline to 836 but new inventory (143) is twice what is being settled this trend needs to change to show true stability.
